This dual voice coil shallow mount subwoofer has been designed for applications where space can be an issue. With less than 3 inches of mounting depth, this subwoofer can fit under any bench seat or shallow compartment. Designed to perform optimally in small sealed application.

  • Terminal Type: Stainless Push & Insert for a very secure electrical connection with a high-end fit and finish. Nickle plated push & insert to resist corrosion and aid in easy of installation.

  • Surround / Cone Coupling: UV rubber surround resists sun fading and remains flexible.
  • Voice Coil / Former Assembly: 2-inch high-temperature voice coil and former for high thermal stability in small enclosure volumes where the internal box temperatures can rob you of performance. Vented aluminum voice coil former allows more dissipation of heat.
  • Spider: Polyester and cotton blended spider resist softening and sagging over time so you can enjoy many years of listening pleasure.
  • Frame / Venting: Heavy gauge powder coated stamped steel basket provides a solid base for the motor system and moving parts and delivers big bass in a small space that does not totally consume your cargo space. Front and rear venting allow cooler air to be exchanged in the voice coil gap which helps the subwoofer make deep bass and extend the life of the component.
  • Cone: Molded polypropylene cone and FEA design inner-cone are UVA protected and water-resistant. The Polyether foam surround and FEA-designed inner-cone resist damaging UV rays found in automotive applications. Round, reinforced dust cap adds necessary weight to the mechanical function of the woofer and keeps the cone rigid.
