This replacement dashboard panel is engineered to help you install an aftermarket 4” tall (Double-DIN) radio so that you can upgrade the stereo more easily. Since the original dashboard on these older models cannot fit a larger radio, this replacement panel allows you to upgrade to a bigger, modern radio without complex or labor-intensive custom fabrication. It is custom textured to blend the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard with the appearance of a modern radio. Minor modifications to the sub-dash are required for this installation, and detailed instructions are included. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide features the original factory radio couldn’t offer, but this dash panel is required to make it fit.
